Androidofony bypassed iPhone sales in the U.S.
Mobile operating system Android has become the second quarter of 2010 the most popular in the U.S., beating RIM BlackBerry OS company and iOS corporation Apple. Writes about this ComputerWorld citing a report of analysts Gartner.
For the second quarter were sold 4,96 million androidofonov, 4.85 million BlackBerry smartphones and 3.23 million units in iOS. Market share amounted to 34,1, 33,3 and 22,2 per cent. A year ago the share of Android was only 3.8 per cent. BlackBerry and iOS then occupied 52.5 and 25.4 per cent of the market.

In a world of data Gartner, the market for smartphone operating systems is different. The devices on the Symbian occupy 41.2 percent of the market, BlackBerry - 18,2 percent, Android - 17,2 per cent and 14.2 per cent of all iOS.

All the world for the second quarter of 2010 was sold 325.6 million mobile devices. At smartphones had 19 percent of these volumes, which is 50 percent more last year.
