David Gilmour will release a 3D-Album
The guitarist and vocalist of Pink Floyd, David Gilmour and the British electronic duo The Orb together to record a joint plate. According to Undercover, the musician and his colleagues in electronics conceived to release an album in the format 3D60, allowing to create a "volume", non-standard in sound recording.
The disc, on which Gilmore has worked with The Orb, called "Metallic Spheres". The process of recording took place under the supervision of producer Martin Glover (he works under the pseudonym of Youth), who is also the bassist of the British band Killing Joke and participant of the project , Paul McCartney, The Fireman.

It is expected that the release of the album in October 2010. Track-list of musicians to work together have been made yet, so it is not clear how many tracks will be issued. The Orb intend to give a laser show on exit "Metallic Spheres". These representations will be held in Los Angeles and New York.

Format 3D60 fully compatible with all existing audio formats. Listen to songs, recorded in 3D60, could even through ordinary stereo headphones. To view an example of a recording made with the use of new technology, you can here.
