Company LG Electronics will release a new generation of electronic paper. , Writes PC World referring to the application the company filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

LG will release a new generation of e-paper
In the company plans to mass-produce two types of screens - color displays with a diagonal 9.7 inches, and flexible 19-inch black-and-white screens. The company intends to set up production of these screens before the end of 2010.

It is expected that the new displays will be used in next-generation Tablet and devices for reading electronic books. Due to the large size 19-inch display will be the analogue of paper newspapers.

However, the company has not said whether she intends to do the release devices with new screens. Also unknown cost of a new generation of electronic paper and technology on which it is made.

LG is one of the largest manufacturers of displays in the world. Thus, it is one of the leading suppliers of screens Tablet iPad and chitalok Kindle DX.
