The President of Pakistan banned jokes about himself
Pakistani security forces have received from the disposal of the authorities to track the spread of jokes about President Asif Ali Zardari in blogs, as well as through SMS and e-mail. From now on, anyone who joke about the head of state, can be arrested and imprisoned for up to 14 years, reports The Daily Telegraph.

During the debates on the new law, supporters of Zardari in various ways to explain its purpose: from considerations of combating terrorism to attempt to protect women parliamentarians from obscene emails. Also, Pakistani officials resent storm-bullying messages sent to the government addresses.

Pakistanis often laugh at their president, accusing him of corruption and inability to cope with inflation. When his late wife Benazir Bhutto was Pakistan's prime minister, Zardari, the minister in the government of his wife, received the nickname "Mr. 10 percent": it was suspected that he demanded kickbacks from contracts that were concluded with the state.

After that internet users are subject to the following lightweight text: "The government has introduced a tax on the message. Apparently, it is understood that all this time over Zardari's free scoffed. Now, for every insult he receives the money!"

The Daily Telegraph cites several anecdotes about the Pakistani president. Here's one: "Terrorists have kidnapped our beloved Zardari and demanded five million dollars, or they obolyut him with gasoline and burned. Sacrifice anyone as he could. I have already donated five liters."
