Fernando Morientes has completed his career
Former striker Real Madrid and Spain soccer Fernando Morientes announced his retirement. According to the 34-year old striker, he had offers from the Portuguese Sporting, as well as from Mexico, Qatar and United Arab Emirates, but he decided to retire from football, reports the Associated Press.
At the end of sports career Morientes plans to run a football commentator on television.

Best Years Club career (from 1997 to 2005) conducted a striker in Real Madrid. With this team he won three times in the Champions League, twice - in the championship of Spain and the Intercontinental Cup.

After leaving Real Madrid Morientes played for AS Monaco FC, Liverpool, Valencia and Marseille. For Spain, he had 47 matches and scored 27 goals. In the list of the best strikers of all time Morientes team ranked fourth.
